Eddie Carter Live Music

Our Sunday concert series continues on February 18th with Eddie Carter Live Music in the tasting room paired with Town Fork Mobile Kitchen.

Come on out and enjoy the live jams from Eddie Carter in the tasting room and tickle your taste buds with the delicious hibachi from Town Fork Mobile Kitchen.

We will have live music at the winery with Eddie Carter performing in the tasting room from 2:00 until 5:00. Eddie is a crowd favorite here at Gioia dell’Amore and will treat us to Americana music (also known as American Roots music) in the tasting room. This amalgam of American music formed by the confluence of the shared and varied traditions that make up the musical ethos of the United States has something to get everyone up and dancing to a great mix of blues, jazz, rock and gospel.

Town Fork Mobile Kitchen is a farm to fender to fork food kitchen serving Japanese hibachi style cuisine. In addition to traditional steak, shrimp and chicken hibachi, their menu features mouthwatering specials such as Poke Nachos, Seared Ahi Tuna with Pineapple Glaze, and Ginger Glazed Salmon. They will be serving from 1pm until 5pm so come out early and grab your favorite spot in the tasting room and enjoy the food before the concert begins.

Please patronize the food truck! While we usually allow guests to bring outside munchies, we do ask that you refrain from bringing in small bites on days when we have a food truck. These small businesses bring their huge trucks and talent all the way up the hill to serve our customers and do need to sell enough food to cover their costs. We appreciate you shopping local and supporting them so they will return for future events! YUM!

About Your Hosts

Eddie Carter is a musician/singer-songwriter and a pastor. He studied at Piedmont International University (Carolina University) where he received his Master’s of Arts in Biblical Studies in 2018. Eddie plays a wide variety of cover music along with his original work. His latest album is “The Sky is Full of Stars” which you can preview here:

Town Fork Mobile Kitchen is out of Germanton, North Carolina. Owner Aaron Shaver is as friendly as he is talented at cooking fresh, delicious food. Aaron developed a love of cooking at a young age. As a teenager, he worked in numerous restaurants and really grew serious about becoming a chef in his early 20s while in college. Throughout his journey, he worked under some great chefs who cultivated his love into a career. While working as an executive chef, he began dreaming of owning and operating a food truck. This dream became a reality in July 2021 with the birth of Town Fork Mobile Kitchen.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars is a 96-acre vineyard, winery, wedding venue, and cabin rental facility nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Born out of the owners’ love of family and wine, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars endeavors to share these passions in its romantic, rustic country setting where it aims to “Scatter Joy!” to its community and customers.
