Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs

Our Sunday free concert series on November 17th will feature the Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs live and Fonz’s Firehouse Grill food truck.

What to Expect

Come out and enjoy the live music of the Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs who will provide Folk(ish) fuel for your psychedelic soul. This duo aims to create a concoction of sounds that gets a lot of toes tapping and heads bobbing, and maybe make a few friends along the way. This event will mark the inaugural visit of the duo, so please help us welcome this unique duo!

We have paired the Bugs with a new food truck, Fonz’s Firehouse Grill. This food truck offers gourmet hot dogs including a vegie dog, and also serves pulled pork. Their reviews speak for themselves with customers claiming, “the best hotdog I have EVER had”.

We will also have Sweet Revenge Bakery selling their treats in the backroom. From brownies to turnovers to cookies, they have something for every sweet tooth!

Additionally, we will be serving up our award winning wines and local craft beers. What to pair with a hot dog? Perhaps a crisp Sauvignon Blanc or a spicy Full Monte’.

Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs: If Jerry Garcia and Tom Waits made an Appalachian music duo, it might sound a little like the Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs. Hailing from Winston-Salem, Zack and Kendra Harding blend the traditional with the trippy to create original music they like to call folk(ish). Officially formed in 2016, the two have played extensively throughout the US, as well as toured internationally.

Fonz’s Firehouse Grill is a small food truck located in Winston Salem run by a Firefighter following his dream. They feature gourmet hot dogs as well as pulled pork.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars (pronounced: “Joy-A” – “dell” – “Ah more ay”) is a winery and vineyard located in Mayodan, NC. Our Italian name means “Joy of Love”.  We are a 96-acre vineyard, winery, wedding venue, and cabin rental facility nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Born out of the owners’ love of family and wine, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars endeavors to share these passions in its romantic, rustic country setting where it aims to “Scatter Joy!” to its community and customers.
