With roots in the Sauratown Mountains and a sound that blends Americana, soul, and story, Tyler brings an unforgettable energy that’s been compared to a “country Bill Withers.” From small-town gigs to Nashville stages, his voice and storytelling strike all the right chords.

Pair those smooth sounds with something delicious from The Rolling LunchBox—a Veteran-owned and woman-operated food truck serving up quick, tasty sandwiches made with heart.

About Your Hosts

Tyler Dodson: Born in the foothills of the Sauratown Mountains in Stokes County, North Carolina, Tyler Dodson is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter whose music weaves together the soulful stories and eclectic sounds of the South. Drawing inspiration from artists as diverse as The Strokes, John Prine, Guy Clark, Tom Petty, and soul legends like Wilson Pickett and Otis Redding, Dodson has crafted a distinctive Americana style—earning him comparisons to a “country Bill Withers.” From his humble beginnings playing for tips and tacos at a Taco Bell in King, NC, to performing at Nashville’s “The Stage on Broadway,” recording in Muscle Shoals, and becoming a festival favorite at Shakori Hills, Dodson’s journey reflects a lifelong devotion to storytelling through song. His debut album, Live at the West Salem Public House, recorded by Doug Williams of EMR Recorders (The Avett Brothers, The Wood Brothers), captures his signature ability to turn simple stories into hauntingly familiar reflections of the human experience.

The Rolling LunchBox is a Veteran owned and woman operated Mayodan based Food Truck. Katie and Jason provide sandwiches made quickly for your entire family. Back in 2016 when Katie was completing her business degree, she was assigned a project to create a faux company. This project sparked her dream! At the time, food trailers / trucks were not very common in our area. After a lot of research, they placed the dream on the “someday list”. They launched their dream in the fall of 2024, and have quickly become one of the most popular food trucks in the area.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars (pronounced: “Joy-A” – “dell” – “Ah more ay”) invites you to savor the Joy of Love in every sip and every step. Nestled on 96 acres of rolling hills in Mayodan, NC, our vineyard is a rustic escape where love lingers in the air and laughter dances among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Whether you’re toasting in our elegant yet cozy tasting room, unwinding in a romantic cabin, or saying I do at our dreamy wedding venue, every moment here is steeped in romance.
