Pair your plate with a glass of wine, find your favorite spot in the tasting room, and let the day unfold at its own easy pace.

From 2:00 to 5:00 pm, the sounds of Brooks Kaplan fill the vineyard with a feel-good mix of jazz and rock, and sing-along charm—music that invites toe-tapping, smiling, and maybe even a little dancing. His relaxed, engaging style creates the perfect soundtrack for an afternoon spent laughing with friends, clinking glasses, and soaking in the beauty of the vines.

The Gioia dell’Amore Cellars tasting room remains open from 1:00 to 6:00 pm, welcoming guests to sip, linger, and explore the wines that make every visit feel like a small celebration. Whether you’re enjoying a casual date, gathering with friends, or simply treating yourself to a vineyard escape, this is an afternoon designed for connection, comfort, and joy—served with great music, delicious food, and a whole lot of heart.

About Your Hosts

Brooks Kaplan is a seasoned guitarist and vocalist with over 45 years of stage experience. After cutting his teeth in rock bands throughout the 1980s, affectionately earning the nickname “Uncle Brooks,” he went on to study jazz at the University of North Texas. His performances blend toe-tapping jazz standards inspired by legends like Miles Davis and Wes Montgomery with classic rock favorites from artists such as Tom Petty and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Delivered with a swinging groove and an easy sense of humor, Brooks’ shows are as engaging as they are musically rich.

Unlimited Immersed Flavors is a Greensboro, North Carolina–based food truck founded in February 2025 by Chef Yvonne Thompson. With over a decade of catering experience, Chef Thompson brings her passion for bold, comforting cuisine to the road. Specializing in wings, burgers, and hot dogs, Unlimited Immersed Flavors serves up crave-worthy favorites crafted to satisfy and bring people together.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars (pronounced: “Joy-A” – “dell” – “Ah more ay”) invites you to savor the Joy of Love in every sip and every step. Nestled on 96 acres of rolling hills in Mayodan, NC, our vineyard is a rustic escape where love lingers in the air and laughter dances among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Whether you’re toasting in our elegant yet cozy tasting room, unwinding in a romantic cabin, or saying I do at our dreamy wedding venue, every moment here is steeped in romance.
