Our Build-Your-Own Mimosa and Sangria Bar invites you to sip, customize, and create your perfect glass using your favorite wine paired with a vibrant selection of fresh and macerated fruits. Set against the relaxed beauty of the vineyard, this is the kind of easygoing, joy-filled experience Mom will truly love.

What to Expect

Treat Mom to an afternoon that’s equal parts thoughtful and fun. Guests can purchase a glass of their preferred wine and then visit our fresh fruit bar to build their own mimosa or sangria just the way they like it—bright, bubbly, and bursting with flavor.

Whether you lean toward citrus-forward blends, berry-infused favorites, or something a little more adventurous, this experience is designed to be playful, relaxed, and completely customizable. It’s the perfect way to slow down, sip something beautiful, and spend meaningful time together.

While the mimosa and sangria bar is the highlight, the full vineyard experience will be in bloom. Enjoy live music by Sam Swanson from 2:00 – 5:00 pm, grab something delicious from Fortress BBQ Food Truck serving from 1:00 – 5:00 pm, or gather a group for Mah Jongg open play in the back room from 2-5. Whether you come for the wine, the music, or the company, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars (pronounced: “Joy-A” – “dell” – “Ah more ay”) invites you to savor the Joy of Love in every sip and every step. Nestled on 96 acres of rolling hills in Mayodan, NC, our vineyard is a rustic escape where love lingers in the air and laughter dances among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Whether you’re toasting in our elegant yet cozy tasting room, unwinding in a romantic cabin, or saying “I do” at our dreamy wedding venue, every moment here is steeped in romance.

At the heart of Gioia dell’Amore are owners Laura and David Comer, whose passion for wine is as deep as their passion for creating meaningful experiences. They trained in winemaking at Texas Tech University and are WSET Level II certified, bringing both technical expertise and artistry to every bottle. Their hands-on approach—from vineyard to glass—ensures that each wine reflects not only the character of the land, but also the spirit of connection, celebration, and joy that defines the Gioia experience.
