SOLD OUT: 5-Course Valentine’s Wine Pairing

Gioia dell’Amore will be hosting a 5-course Valentine’s wine pairing event on Friday, February 2nd at 7pm in the pavilion.

Looking for an experience gift for your loved one? Tickets are now on sale for our second wine pairing dinner on February 2nd. Our first dinner in November was a sell out, so please purchase your tickets early. Tickets must be purchased on-line in order to ensure the caterer an accurate head count. Registration ends at noon on Wednesday, January 24th, or when tickets are sold out.

The dinner is a fundraising event benefiting Ancora Compassionate Care (formerly Hospice of Rockingham County), which has a new name, with continued ownership and support the of Rockingham County community. The new name was designed to reflect the agency’s expansion of services to include both hospice and palliative care. We will be conducting a raffle which will include a bottle of each of the wines featured in the 5-course meal. This exquisite 5-course meal will be by Pepper Moon Catering and will be paired with our Gioia dell’Amore wines. Wines will also be used in preparation of some of the courses.

We understand that many individuals do have food allergies and the caterer did an awesome job adjusting the menu for us at the first dinner event. Note that there is not a way to describe allergies in the registration. Once you register, you will receive a confirming email from the winery asking about special dietary needs. We will pass this information off to the chef. We also plan to have a fun 5 course discussion touching on the 5-love languages, so you will also be emailed a short quiz to take if you would like to participate in this part of the evening.

We were amazed at the positive response to the first wine pairing and are super excited to share the evening with you at this 5-course Valentine’s wine pairing. We will be describing each wine before the course pairing as we did at the last event. The dinner will be held in the pavilion to offer more room for more registrants this time!
