Anniversary Celebration – “Embrace” Community

Join us for a fun anniversary celebration all weekend!

We will be introducing our new reserve wine, Embrace, in honor of how the community has embraced us and supported us as new business owners over the last 2 years. We will be offering complimentary tastings of Embrace over the weekend during our normal business hours.

Embrace is a Meritage style wine (rhymes with “heritage”) that gives a nod to old word Bordeaux bold reds. It has deep sultry berry flavors with dark cherry mid-palate, structured tannins, and a bit of tobacco and smoke. Many of you have heard David and Laura talking in the tasting room about their love of bolder reds and this wine fits that description well.

We will also have some sweets and treats around the tasting room as well as live music on Saturday afternoon. We will be welcoming for the first time Russell Lapinski, local acoustic guitarist, at 2:00 pm on Saturday. Russell plays an amazing variety of music including Beatles, R&B and oldies.

In celebration of our anniversary, we are also kicking off our wine club, “That’s Amore!” We will have sign up available in tasting room and are excited to welcome members to the Amore family!

We know there has been a learning curve with the pronunciation of our Italian name, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars. The name is The Joy of Love in Italian, and so many of you have worked to get that first word down (pronounced “Joy-A”). Of course we always say, just call us the Amore winery and we are great with that! We also LOVE the Autumn Creek name and the vineyard property will always carry this name. We only augmented the name because of our story and the fact that Laura’s late sister was involved in creating the name, and the logo.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, coached, comforted and loved on us these past 2 years. We have learned so much, and of course still have so much growth in our future. We knew we were purchasing a beautiful property, but the community we are now a part of is even more beautiful by far.
