The Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs are a folk(ish) fusion of tradition and psychedelia—where Appalachian roots meet cosmic grooves. If Jerry Garcia and Tom Waits ever decided to form a mountain duo, it might sound something like Zack and Kendra Harding. Hailing from Winston-Salem, NC, this talented husband-and-wife team weaves banjo, guitar, and lush harmonies into an eclectic sound they lovingly call folk(ish). Since forming in 2016, they’ve carried their music from front porches to festival stages across the U.S. and abroad, including a recent tour through the UK and Ireland. With their laid-back charm and genre-bending sound, the Bugs bring an unforgettable blend of heart, humor, and a touch of mountain magic to every performance.
