What to Expect

Get ready for another lively Sunday in the Gioia Sunday Concert Series as Craig Vaughn takes the stage and Fortress BBQ brings craft barbecue to the vineyard. From 1:00–5:00 PM, Pitmaster Adam Harvey will be serving up regional BBQ inspired by the traditions of North Carolina, Texas, California, and Kansas City, with favorites including brisket, St. Louis pork ribs, pulled pork, and pork steak. Save room for a little something sweet, too, with peanut butter pie and banana pudding on the menu. From 2:00–5:00 PM, Craig Vaughn brings more than three decades of professional musicianship and an engaging, versatile style to the tasting room. The tasting room will be open from 1:00–6:00 PM, with handcrafted wines, local craft beer, and wine slushies available throughout the afternoon. Bring your favorite people, come hungry, and settle in for an afternoon of great music, seriously good BBQ, and the warm hospitality that makes Sundays at Gioia feel like coming home.

Craig Vaughn: Craig Vaughn has been captivating audiences for more than 30 years, bringing his signature energy, versatility, and exceptional musicianship to over 175 performances each year. A full-time professional musician for more than 13 years, Craig has entertained audiences at universities, corporate events, luxury resorts, and high-profile galas throughout the Southeast.

Trained by the best in the business, Pitmaster Adam Harvey is ready to serve up craft BBQ unrivaled in the area. From brisket to Saint Lewis pork ribs to Pulled pork and pork steak, they have a delight for every carnivore. To finish with a little something sweet, try their peanut butter pie or banana pudding!
