What To Expect

Join us at the winery for live music and a fun costume contest with prizes. Grand prize will be a 2 night weekday stay in one of our lodging suites on the vineyard property.

Eddie Carter will perform live music in the tasting room from 2:00 to 5:00.  Eddie will treat us to Americana music (also known as American Roots music) in the tasting room. This amalgam of American music formed by the confluence of the shared and varied traditions that make up the musical ethos of the United States has something to get everyone up and dancing! Check out Eddie’s music.

Paired with Eddie will be new local favorite food truck the Rolling Lunch Box. Enjoy grilled and cold sandwiches with chips or soup.

We are also having an art class with Nicki from B2Z Designs. We will be painting wood Christmas Ornaments. Check out the detailed information on this event.

Our wine and beer menu has something for all you ghouls and boys. We look forward to a fun afternoon with ample laughter and great photo opportunities!

About Your Hosts

Eddie Carter is a musician/singer-songwriter and a pastor. He studied at Piedmont International University (Carolina University) where he received his Master’s of Arts in Biblical Studies in 2018. Eddie plays a wide variety of cover music along with his original work. His latest album is “The Sky is Full of Stars” which you can preview here.

Rolling Lunch Box is a new food truck in Rockingham County serving Hot Dogs, BLT’s Grilled sandies and sides.

B2Z Designs offers custom art work and paint parties in the triad area. They create unique home decor items such as door hangers, leaners and shelf sitters. Nicki Wagoner is the artist and sole proprietor. Nicki works hard to support local businesses in all of her endeavors including her Purple Wagon Events, Local Farmer’s Markets and B2Z Designs.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars (pronounced: “Joy-A” – “dell” – “Ah more ay”). Our Italian name means “Joy of Love”.  We are a 96-acre vineyard, winery, wedding venue, and cabin rental facility nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Born out of the owners’ love of family and wine, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars endeavors to share these passions in its romantic, rustic country setting where it aims to “Scatter Joy!” to its community and customers.
