What to Expect

Come on out and enjoy the amazing country tunes of Ray Hudson at this free concert at Gioia dell’Amore Cellars. Ray is always a crowd favorite and will have you tapping your heels and dancing across the wooden floor in the tasting room. Live Music will be from 2 to 5 in the tasting room.

Sushi Empire will be serving up sushi and poke bowls from 1:00 to 5:00! I know many of you have been following their story, as they came out once and were expected back again. Unfortunately there was an accident with their food truck and they had to rebuild. but THER’RE BACK!!!! Come help us celebrate their recovery and enjoy the freshest poke and sushi around before the music starts. While we do allow outside food most days, we do ask that you patronize Sushi Empire this Sunday since they are making the trek up the hill to serve our Amore family!

This East meets West pairing of Josh Ray Hudson & Sushi Empire will certainly be a hit, especially when paired with our wine and ice cold beer. Preview our wine and beer list before you come out, we have something to whet your whistle including several local beer selections.

About your hosts

Ray Hudson is a local singer and songwriter from Sandy Ridge, North Carolina. Hudson has built something of a songwriting dynasty. Not only did he win the 2023 Don Gibson Singer/Songwriter Award, the Cleveland County native also took home the top prize in 2020 and 2021. The year in between, 2022, Hudson finished in second place. After so much success, what keeps Hudson coming back for more? Hudson states, “as a performer, if I put on a good show, that’s great, but to have people come just to hear something you have written, that means a lot.”

Sushi Empire:  Carefully crafted and expertly executed, Sushi Empire has been serving up restaurant quality creations, on the go, since spring of 2023. What began as an idea rapidly blossomed into something solid and extravagant. Two founding members began their industry involvement separately on the east coast and traveled throughout the states to absorb further knowledge. After years of working and learning in various locations, while remaining humble, both owners traveled back to the east coast to begin a special type of venture – together.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars is a 96-acre vineyard, winery, wedding venue, and cabin rental facility nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Born out of the owners’ love of family and wine, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars endeavors to share these passions in its romantic, rustic country setting where it aims to “Scatter Joy!” to its community and customers.
