Monthly Art Class

Join us for our June Monthly Art Class! This will be a combined woodworking and painting/staining class conducted by Big D’s Woodwork and B2Z Designs.

If I had a hammer, I’d hammer and drink wine! Join us in the Barrel Room as we combine our woodworking and painting skills to create this beautiful wood chest. Sitting at one foot by two feet and 3 inches deep, it is designed to neatly hold your K-Cups, tea bags, napkin rings or whatever your heart desires.

This is a two for one artist event with Mark at Big D’s Woodcrafter teaching the woodworking class followed by Nicki at B2Z designs.

Nicki will walk us through staining or painting the wood box so that each of us can match it to our own decor. This will make a lovely gift or be gorgeous in your own home.

Of course a few sips of vino or brewski might help the nerves to take that first brush or hammer stroke. So come on out and enjoy some artistic time in the Barrel Room with Mark and Nicki on June 23rd!

B2Z Designs offers custom art work and paint parties in the triad area. They create unique home decor items such as door hangers, leaners and shelf sitters. Nicki Wagoner is the artist and sole proprietor. Nicki works hard to support local businesses in all of her endeavors including her Purple Wagon Events, Local Farmer’s Markets and B2Z Designs.

Big D’s Woodcrafters.  Mark Johnson has loved playing with woodworking since he gave up his Legos as a child.  He builds everything from furniture, to intricate cutting boards, to beautiful hand coffee grinders. His hand made products are popular at local art fairs and he creates custom pieces to order.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars (pronounced: “Joy-A” – “dell” – “Ah more ay”). Our Italian name means “Joy of Love”.  We are a 96-acre vineyard, winery, wedding venue, and cabin rental facility nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards.
