September 20 brings another feel-good Sunday to the Gioia Sunday Concert Series as Press Play returns to the tasting room alongside Tommy Dee’s Cuisine. From 1:00–5:00 PM, Greensboro-based Tommy Dee’s Cuisine will be serving bold, creative comfort food, including their popular beef, chicken, and vegan Phyllies, loaded specialty fries, hot dogs, vegan burgers, and handcrafted lemonades. From 2:00–5:00 PM, Press Play, featuring Bobby Doss and Jeff Neal, returns to Gioia with the crowd-pleasing mix of familiar hits that has made them a favorite with our guests. Their versatile setlist spans the ’50s through the ’90s and crosses decades and genres, creating an upbeat afternoon filled with songs you’ll recognize and probably can’t resist singing along to. The tasting room will be open from 1:00–6:00 PM, with handcrafted wines, local craft beer, and wine slushies available throughout the afternoon. Known for their crowd-favorite Phyllies — from classic beef to juicy chicken to full-flavor vegan — Tommy Dee’s dishes out something delicious for every kind of eater. Their menu goes beyond the sandwich, featuring loaded specialty fries, sizzling hot dogs, hearty vegan burgers, and refreshing handcrafted lemonades that pair perfectly with any bite.
