What to expect at the Soulful Easter Concert

Looking for afternoon plans on Easter? Come on out after your morning family and church time for a free concert by Troy Frobeen in the Tasting Room paired with delightful BBQ by 3Boys Smoke Pit!

Troy Frobeen will be strumming up alternative soul tunes in the tasting room beginning at 2:00 until 5:00 pm. Troy is a powerful vocalist who plays great covers as well as his own original music. He is a local native, born and raised in Rockingham County, and is a current contestant on American Idol. Let’s all support Troy as he gains national notoriety!

3Boys Smoke Pit food truck will be serving up tasty meats and sides from 1:00 to 5:00 (or when the last morsel is gone). This is “The Boys” inaugural visit to Gioia dell’Amore Cellars. Expect great BBQ including Chicken, Turkey, Brisket and Pork. You can see the full menu below. These gentlemen have been amazing to work with so far and we are super excited to meet them in person on March 31st! (Or is that “meat” them in person – giggle!)

Please patronize the food truck! While we usually allow guests to bring outside munchies, we do ask that you refrain from bringing in small bites on days when we have a food truck. These small businesses bring their huge trucks and talent all the way up the hill to serve our customers and do need to sell enough food to cover their costs. We appreciate you shopping local and supporting them so they will return for future events!

About Your Hosts

Troy Frobeen is a local singer and songwriter who was born and raised in Madison, NC. Troy graduated from high school at our own Dalton McMichael High School in Rockingham County where he played football. Troy’s music has been described as alternative soul. He is a current contestant on American Idol.

3Boys Smoke Pit is a food trailer and mobile catering company located in Haw River, North Carolina. 3Boys serves up smoked meats, seafood and nachos, and savory sides.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars (pronounced: “Joy-A” – “dell” – “Ah more ay”). Our Italian name means “Joy of Love”.  We are a 96-acre vineyard, winery, wedding venue, and cabin rental facility nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Born out of the owners’ love of family and wine, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars endeavors to share these passions in its romantic, rustic country setting where it aims to “Scatter Joy!” to its community and customers.
