Spring Sip & Shop

Purple Wagon Events will be holding their Spring Sip and Shop event at Gioia dell’Amore Cellars on Saturday, March 16th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

What to Expect

Join us for the Spring Sip and Shop as local artisans and food trucks create a shopping extravaganza in (and around) the pavilion! This is the season kickoff for Purple Wagon Events and will highlight local artists, great food, and of course sipping our award winning wine as you shop and laugh together. Get those special gifts ready for Easter, Mothers Day, Graduation, and upcoming Birthdays; while honoring the local artists who will have their handmade goods on sale in the Pavilion.

Additionally, Gioia dell’Amore will have the bar open in the Pavilion and will be serving select wine and beer. Come on out and try one of our newest wines. In the mood for something new? Try our all estate grown Traminette, Cherish. This is an off-dry white wine with notes of white floral, honeydew and pear on the nose and zippy grapefruit on the palate. Or our newborn sweet sparkling wine, Giggles, which is a sweet almond sparkling wine with well balanced acidity.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars (pronounced: “Joy-A”  “dell”  “Ah more ay”) is a 96-acre vineyard, winery, wedding venue, and cabin rental facility nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Born out of the owners’ love of family and wine, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars endeavors to share these passions in its romantic, rustic country setting where it aims to “Scatter Joy!” to its community and customers.
