To Infinity & Beyond: A Toy Story Wine Pairing Dinner for Toys for Tots comes to Gioia dell’Amore Cellars in Mayodan, NC, on Friday, October 30 at 6:30 PM. Enjoy a playful four-course wine pairing experience featuring passed appetizers, a plated dinner, dessert, and four wine pairings, all while helping support Rockingham County Toys for Tots. Costumes are optional, generosity is encouraged, and a portion of every ticket will help bring a little more joy to local children this holiday season.
What to Expect
Get ready to trade your wine glass for a little bit of whimsy at To Infinity & Beyond: A Toy Story Wine Pairing Dinner for Toys for Tots on Friday, October 30 at 6:30 PM. Culinary Visions Catering will prepare the evening’s dinner, featuring passed appetizers, a plated entrée, and dessert. Your $75 registration also includes four 3oz wine pairings thoughtfully selected to complement each part of the meal from the opening bites through our two-part entrée and dessert. And yes, we’re having a little fun with the menu: Buzz’s Citrus Chicken and Woody’s Roundup Brisket will share the plate, with Bo Peep’s Stuffed Acorn Squash available as our vegetarian option.
Costumes are completely optional, but if you’ve ever wanted an excuse to channel your favorite Toy Story character, consider this your invitation! Guests arriving in costume receive a complimentary raffle ticket, and every new, unwrapped toy donated to Toys for Tots earns another raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase throughout the evening, with ticket proceeds benefiting this wonderful local cause. After your four included wine pours, our cash bar will be open for those who’d like to continue the evening with a glass of Gioia wine, local craft beer, or another favorite. And if you don’t feel like letting the evening end just yet, our on-site cabins will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Better yet, make a weekend of it and join us Sunday for local artists, Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs live, and Send It Sammies Food Truck. Come dressed up or come as you are, bring a toy, bring your sense of adventure, and come help us Scatter Joy! for a very good reason. ❤️🍷🚀
