What to Expect at Eden RiverFest

The Eden RiverFest is a celebration of Eden’s art, history and river heritage. This year, it will be held in uptown Eden along Washington Street on September 20th and 21st. Friday’s activities will run from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Saturday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars will be conducting wine tastings at Lavenders Blue Bath and Body Shop during RiverFest. Kendra will offer both tastings as well as glasses for purchase during the event.

The two day event will include live music all day with great bands such as “80z Nation” and “Trial by Fire”. Activities will include axe throwing, face painting, BMX Show, chainsaw carving, gem mining, photobooth, giant games, magicians, kid’s play zone, sand art, trick roping and stagecoach fun. The event will also feature amusements, artisans, craters, characters, festival foods and a rotary beer garden.

Lavenders Blue Body & Bath Boutique is a local handmade soap shop based in Eden, North Carolina. The boutique provides a place for customers to shop for all natural products and make their own.

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars (pronounced: “Joy-A” – “dell” – “Ah more ay”). Our Italian name means “Joy of Love”.  We are a 96-acre vineyard, winery, wedding venue, and cabin rental facility nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Born out of the owners’ love of family and wine, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars endeavors to share these passions in its romantic, rustic country setting where it aims to “Scatter Joy!” to its community and customers.

RiverFest celebrates Eden’s art, history, and river heritage. This annual event takes place in the Historic Leaksville area of Eden – our oldest downtown area that dates back to 1797. Eden marketing and special events organizes this annual event which is attended by thousands of guest from Greensboro to Martinsville.
