What to Expect
September 13 brings the heart of Carolina country and hometown hospitality together for another Sunday in the Gioia Sunday Concert Series. From 1:00–5:00 PM, Mayodan-based The Rolling LunchBox will be serving their creative take on comfort food, with melty grilled sandwiches, classic hot dogs, BLTs, pimento cheese specialties, and plenty of delicious reasons to come hungry.
From 2:00–5:00 PM, award-winning North Carolina singer-songwriter Joshua Ray Hudson takes the stage, bringing soulful vocals, heartfelt storytelling, and the unmistakable character of real country and roots music to the tasting room. With more than 350 songs, four studio albums, and three Don Gibson Singer-Songwriter Awards to his name, Joshua has a gift for turning life, place, and emotion into music that connects.
The tasting room will be open from 1:00–6:00 PM, with handcrafted wines, local craft beer, and wine slushies available throughout the afternoon. Come enjoy two homegrown talents, good food, great music, and the warm hospitality that makes Sundays at Gioia feel like coming home.

Joshua Ray Hudson is an award-winning singer-songwriter from the rural mountains of Casar, North Carolina, has written over 350 songs and recorded four studio albums. A three-time winner of the Don Gibson Singer-Songwriter Award, Josh’s soulful delivery and vivid storytelling shine in every performance. His latest release, That’s Why We Stand, honoring our military, is steadily climbing the charts, showcasing the heart and authenticity of real country and roots music.
The Rolling Lunch Box: Get ready to fall head over “wheels” for the Rolling LunchBox food truck! This Mayodan-based food truck is serving up all your comfort food favorites with a twist, from melty grilled sandwiches and classic hot dogs to irresistible BLTs and pimento cheese specialties. With every bite, you’ll taste the love and creativity that goes into their delicious lineup of sandwiches. It’s more than lunch—it’s a little slice of food truck heaven!
Gioia dell’Amore Cellars: At the heart of Gioia dell’Amore are owners Laura and David Comer, whose passion for wine is as deep as their passion for creating meaningful experiences. They trained in winemaking at Texas Tech University and are WSET Level II certified, bringing both technical expertise and artistry to every bottle. Their hands-on approach—from vineyard to glass—ensures that each wine reflects not only the character of the land, but also the spirit of connection, celebration, and joy that defines the Gioia experience.
