What to Expect

September 6 brings something a little different to the Gioia Sunday Concert Series, with a returning favorite on stage and a brand-new food truck bringing something deliciously unexpected to the table. Bulgarian Taco will be serving from 1:00–5:00 PM, bringing their creative blend of Latin street food and Bulgarian flavors to the Triad with tacos, burritos, and rice bowls that promise a delicious twist on the familiar. From 2:00–5:00 PM, Kierstin Dark returns to the stage with her soulful vocals and eclectic mix of covers, drawing inspiration from artists such as Norah Jones, Carole King, and The Carpenters, with a touch of jazz woven into her style. The tasting room will be open from 1:00–6:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the music, discover an intriguing new food favorite, sip your favorite wine, and gather with friends for another joyful Sunday at Gioia. Sometimes the best afternoons happen when you try something you’ve never tried before.

Kierstin Dark is a dynamic vocalist and musician known for her expressive style and engaging performances. In addition to taking the stage, she is the founder of Studio Kay, where she has spent over six years helping singers of all ages build healthy, confident voices. With a passion for music and connection, Kierstin brings both skill and heart to every performance, creating an experience that is as uplifting as it is memorable. eclectic covers with a touch of jazz influence in the lake Norman Charlotte area for over 6 years my influences range from Nora Jones , Carol king and the carpenters.

Bulgarian Taco brings a creative fusion of Latin street food and Bulgarian flavors to the Triad, turning familiar favorites into something entirely unexpected. Their menu combines tacos, burritos, and rice bowls with distinctive Bulgarian-inspired flavors and ingredients, creating bold, crave-worthy combinations that are as fun to discover as they are delicious to eat. Based in the Triad, Bulgarian Taco has built a reputation for food that gets people talking—and coming back for another bite
