Come get away without going far.
Our vineyard cabins and suites are the perfect place for a last-minute Labor Day escape. Wake up among the vines, enjoy a leisurely morning, then spend your weekend doing as much—or as little—as you’d like.
Sunday brings live music and a food truck, plus wine and beautiful vineyard views.
Then on Monday, we’re opening specially from 1:00–6:00 PM for Labor Day. Bring a favorite food to share if you’d like, pour yourself a glass of wine, and settle in for a relaxed afternoon at the vineyard.
And when the day is done?
You don’t have to drive home.

About Your Host
Located in Mayodan, North Carolina, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars at Autumn Creek Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery and destination offering handcrafted wines, vineyard experiences, lodging, weddings, private events, a wine club, a wine travel club and charitable events. Built around the philosophy of Scatter Joy! and inspired by the playful romance of wine and life, the winery is committed to creating memorable experiences while supporting local artisans, organizations and the surrounding community.
At the heart of Gioia dell’Amore are owners Laura and David Comer, whose passion for wine is as deep as their passion for creating meaningful experiences. They trained in winemaking at Texas Tech University and are WSET Level II certified, bringing both technical expertise and artistry to every bottle. Their hands-on approach—from vineyard to glass—ensures that each wine reflects not only the character of the land, but also the spirit of connection, celebration, and joy that defines the Gioia experience.
